The Brazilian side’s new first-choice design features a roundel-esque version of the famous Southern Cross constellation crest on a base which takes the astronomical theme even further with a blue starscape print. This base styling celebrates the 80th anniversary of the club adopting their Crux-based moniker (first taking to the field of play with their current name in 1943) and the adidas branding is overlaid in white. On the reverse, the club’s original “Palestra Itália” crest features alongside the original “Cruzeiro” one, while the shirt will be combined with white shorts and white or blue socks to complete the matchday kit.
